The Assessment
The CRIA Assessment measures the conditions healthy, high-performing teams share. It looks at both the skills your people bring and the structures that support them, across all six dimensions of team culture and relational dynamics.
Start free with the Individual Snapshot, or run the full Team Assessment for a shared picture of how your team works.
The Individual Snapshot is free and gives you a personal reflection across all six dimensions of the CRIA Framework. It's a good way to experience the framework before committing to a full team rollout.
The Team Assessment is completed by the whole team. Individual responses are combined into one integrated CRIA Team Report showing where your team stands across the three tiers of the CRIA Framework, along with guidance on where to focus first. You'll also receive a Facilitation Guide to help your team lead its own 60-minute discussion about the results.
A few things set it apart:
Built with real teams, not just theory. The methodology was developed and refined with real teams in a global organization, not designed in the abstract and applied afterward.
Team-focused by design. Working at the team level is one of the most effective ways to move an entire system forward.
More accessible, earlier. Because it's more cost-effective and scalable than traditional development programs, people can get access to real growth opportunities earlier in their careers, which also supports succession planning.
Built for your culture, not a template. There's no one-size-fits-all program here. The CRIA Framework works with your team's existing culture rather than asking you to adopt someone else's.
Wellbeing and performance, together. The CRIA Framework holds them as inextricably linked: teams perform better when they're well, and they sustain that performance when it doesn't cost them their wellbeing.
Grounded in established research, not just opinion or anecdote.
Puts the team in the driver's seat. Teams have a direct hand in shaping their own growth path, rather than having a plan handed down to them.
CRIA stands for Connection, Regulation, Intelligence, Action. It is the spirit behind the CRIA Framework, which measures six dimensions of team culture and relational dynamics organized in three tiers.
The framework draws on established research in team effectiveness, psychological safety, emotional intelligence, and relational systems. See our full research bibliography for the specific studies and sources the CRIA Framework is grounded in.
The framework is grounded in established research and every item has been expert-validated. Broader validation is ongoing and continues with every assessment taken.
Participation
About 20 minutes, whether you're completing the Individual Snapshot or the Team Assessment.
The Team Assessment requires at least 3 participants. Teams with 5 or more participants unlock the full data set; some data points are hidden for teams under 5 to protect individual anonymity.
A report can be generated by the sponsor once two-thirds of invited participants have completed the assessment. Once every invitee has completed it, the report is generated automatically and emailed to the sponsor.
It's included in our premium option. The CRIA Full Team Experience includes a facilitated 90-minute session with an expert team coach to walk through the results and build a practical action plan together.
You can track progress. Every Team Assessment includes one free re-assessment at least 90 days after your first, so your team can see how things have shifted, confirm that early changes are taking hold, and identify a new focus area. Development is rarely linear, and the re-assessment turns your first results into a baseline you can measure growth against.
Data and Privacy
We work to hold confidentiality at every stage of the process, since privacy is foundational to the psychological safety the CRIA Framework is built to measure. When you take the Team Assessment, you can be sure your individual scores will not be shared with anyone, and when you take the Individual Snapshot your results will only be shared with you.
